The expanding universe: discrimination |Justin A. Gamache, B.S., M.Ed.

If you have ever been discriminated against then you know exactly how I feel. 95% of people won’t believe it but it is true, I have been discriminated against… because of my looks, because of my education, because of my pre-existing condition, and most of all because I only talk when I have something to say. I’ve been held back when I have tried to push ahead, I’ve been stunned by people I thought were friends, and I have even been forced to change my life.

Unfortunately, for those who have discriminated against me and my life… their opinions do not matter and their thoughts are merely just thoughts. I’ve been told I have an agenda, whatever that agenda is that’s great. Nope, I don’t have all the money but I ask for help when it is needed. Nope, I won’t kill myself working a job nor will I participate in a society full of stress. Nope, I won’t participate in false articles either.

I treat people as they want to be treated and accept people for who they truly are, whatever they want to be.

Yeah, I’ve seen flowers grow and now how much time it takes for them to bloom… I know how to tend to the garden and pull the weeds. I know how to grow the fruit and feed the wisdom.

yeah, I’ve been discriminated against and that is also why I am protesting… why I am on strike… why I won’t pay back my student loans. And why I refuse to participate in a sick society.

Of course, I have a light heart and care for my fellow human race. But I will not tolerate being discriminated no more. And I will strike, I will protest, I will scream to the sky…

This is my time…
