So, yeah, I floated in a Sensory Deprivation tank for 90-minutes today… The float tank has 12,000 pounds of Epson salt which makes it extremely buoyant… Once you’re in you will float automatically. I started with the light on until I got comfortable, used to floating, and then I shut the light off… Extreme darkness; I didn’t know if my eyes were open or closed, music was playing but only for a short time. I turned it off and went complete to the void, the nothing. I am still trying to process this feeling but I can tell you at what point does time exist? I was there for 1 hour and 39 minutes, given some extra time to prepare. Bursting Micro dreams, dreams, and complete nothingness. After all, nothing is something! I lost all sensation that I was floating in water and if I could describe the water it was like “cream.”
My video here:
At what point does time exist or not?
Float in a sensory deprivation tank, my first experience, leaded me to stop believing and start knowing. Of course, I don’t believe in anything but I know much of what should be and how we should all live. Time doesn’t exist folks its a man made concept to control the very lives we live. Time feels real to people. But it doesn’t even exist. There is no time variable in the fundamental equations that describe the world. From our perspective, the perspective of creatures who make up a small part of the world—we see that world flowing in time.
The world seems ordered, going from past to present, linking cause and effect, because of our perspective. We superimpose order upon it, fixing events into a particular, linear series. We link events to outcomes, and this give us a sense of time. But the universe is much more complex and chaotic than we can allow for. Humans rely on approximate descriptions that actually ignore most of the other events, relations, and possibilities. Our limitations create a false, or incomplete, sense of order that doesn’t tell the whole story.
